The dues the Lords of the Manor had to render to the Duke of Cornwall began in 1337. This exhibition explains why and how these dues came about and who presents them to a new Duke. There were four presentations in the 20th century (Prince George 1909, Prince Edward 1921, King George VI 1937 and Prince Charles 1973) at the Castle. The next will be to Prince William when he next visits the town. Objects to be rendered include a salmon spear, a pair of greyhounds, a goatskin mantle and many more interesting items!
